One of the great aspects of National Parks and Forests is how unmanicured they are. There is a large section around Jenny Lake that is naturally recovering from a Forest fire in 1999, leaving us with a different kind of beauty. (at Jenny Lake, Grand Tetons)
Embarking on my own road trip, I couldn’t help but wonder what it was like living on the road as a woman. As part of She Explores, I’m interviewing women who live or have lived mobile lives. Thanks to @desktoglory_ash @idletheorybus @malimish_marlene and @beccirae (the brown bus) for kicking off the page with compelling answers and photographs. Check out www.she-explores.com/women-on-the-road for interviews. (at speeding through Ohio)
17 months in the making, my boyfriend and I left today in our Dodge Sprinter van for a year on the North American road.
With this new venture, I’m also excited to kickoff www.she-explores.com : A website for inquisitive women in the outdoors, on the road, and besides. Click above for interviews with other Women on the Road, artist features, travel guides, camp food and more.
I’ve been incredibly inspired by the women I’ve found here - and I can’t wait to meet more like-minded women over the next year - virtually and otherwise.
